Extrusion
Aluminum extrusion is a process that includes pushing a cylindrical aluminum alloy material through a specified cross-sectional shape (die). The powerful ram pushes the aluminium through the die and out of the die holes.
Outstanding Quality of Aluminium Extrusion
HP Metals possesses a substantial annual production capacity of 36,000 metric tons. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is equipped with over 30 extrusion presses, ranging from 700 to 2500 tons, enabling us to efficiently produce a wide array of aluminium profiles. With die sizes ranging from 3 to 8 inches, we can accommodate various project requirements, from small-scale components to large-scale structures.
Our customers includes the furniture, technology, automotive, construction industries, and many more. In today's rapidly developing world, aluminium extrusion has been a solution for many industries, especially of its sustainability and its very varied uses.
Various Shapes of Aluminium Extrusion
There are 3 main shapes that can be extruded, namely:
- Solid shapes: solid bars and rods with various cross-sections.
- Semi-solid shapes: such as angles, channels, and other partially open forms.
- Hollow shapes: tubes or profiles with various cross-sections.
Temper
- T0 : Annealed
- T4 : Solution heat treated and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition
- T5 : Cooled from an elevated temperature shaping process and artificially aged
- T6 : Solution heat treated and artificially aged
